Education:
• Public – much of the populace has no real knowledge of prairies,
and many schools dedicate little time to teach about prairies.
• Governmental – proper implementation of the Farm Bill and
other legislation and policies need to be based on solid understanding
of prairies
• Landowners – property owners of all types need to be educated
about options for prairie reconstruction, native landscaping, and remnant
restoration, and have realistic expectations of what is possible, feasible
and ideal.
