Married for 47 years, Erv and Janet Klaas raised a wonderful family and made a great team with a spirited passion for community service, the environment, education and community service. It’s hard to find anyone in Central Iowa that hasn’t benefited first hand from Erv’s devotion, dedication and action towards conservation and ecological ethos. Family, friends and the community fondly remember Janet for her sharp intellect, heartfelt kindness and unwavering support for progressive causes.
